Guiding clients through the high points and the low points, decades of industry cycles, my law firm has worked to create a number of successful real estate projects in South Florida. My firm knows real estate, along with those major factors that drive the market, and is able to respond quickly and efficiently to client prospects. We are proficient in every facet of the real estate practice from zoning and planning to development, acquisitions and sales, which has enabled us to establish a practice in areas such as urban development and land use that allow us to innovatively service clients as they navigate through complex projects. Construction and Development We have traditionally had a strong focus on development work, assisting developers in land acquisitions; the negotiation of ground and space leases and agreements with architects, construction managers, contractors and adjacent property owners; and the securing of construction and permanent financing. Our fundamental use approach to land use allows us to produce a comprehensive, creative and business-oriented approach to legal service. My strength lies in the judgment, focus and insight into each of our projects. In working with clients, I do far more than negotiate and draft legal documents. It is part of our focus to understand each client's business and the issues that are important to them. With that understanding, we clarify goals, identify needs and streamline the legal aspects of the transaction. I represent a full range of real estate and development clients, including architects, investors and developers. Our clients seek us out because we are fully equipped to handle every aspect of any real estate or development transaction; from acquisition through entitlement, entity formation, financing, construction, leasing, management, and, ultimately, disposition. Acquisitions & Dispositions Many of these transactions required the creation of sophisticated ownership structures, ground leases, complex financing arrangements, and the resolution of significant environmental issues. Acquisition and disposition clients range from individual investors to real estate investment trusts, and their properties include office building/parks, shopping complexes, and industrial buildings. Leasing & Property Management For both landlord and tenant clients, our law firm works to understand each client's particular needs. Our practice covers all types of commercial leases, including office, retail, and industrial leases. In the representation of landlords, our law firm has the expertise to handle major, complex lease transactions as well as general leasing matters quickly and efficiently. In tenant representation, my emphasis is an expedited process on agreement on lease terms that both address our client's concerns while avoiding protracted negotiations that would be of little benefit. My emphasis on client's business needs and current leasing conditions are utilized in the negotiation process. For our tenant clients routinely engaged in leasing, I can provide any required lease form and leasing procedures that serve to streamline any business goals and requirements.
